I would like a full time job to be enough to by a minimum of rent, food, health care, transportation, communication, clothing, education, and savings for a small family.

In America today, that is not true for millions of working class people. Then add corporations who prefer four part time workers to two full time workers, and it's clear that America penalizes those on the bottom half of the bell curve harshly.

Is that a society you are proud of? Where children starve? Where treatable diseases like TB are a public health risk (even to you)?
