CockroachDB performance is just awful. Most of the members in its Team are arrogant just like the Go community. They just keep defending their statements without any evidence.
Even with lower performance I can see use cases where the ease of configuration works. Medium sized businesses with relatively low query volume seem like a good fit to me.
What statements are you referring to?
Not sure where the vitriol is coming from though.
