As someone who has been in business since ~ 1986 and who 'at that age' augmented his pocket money by making pirate radio transmitters and repairing audio gear next to my bicycle newspaper route I have to concur.

A sum of money like that at the ripe old age of 14 is enough to see you through any kind of life you might envision short of the ridiculous.

Heck, even at 50+ (hope that's mature enough for you) I'd still jump at a chance like this. But then again, my needs are relatively modest, nothing $30M minus the inevitable taxes in the bank wouldn't finance.

The amazing part is the offer and turning down of $30M.
