If by 'friendship with Russia' you mean 'let Putin take whatever territory he wants'.

You mean like how we respect the borders of Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq and Syria?

Putin has made it clear that his goal is to turn Russia into an authoritarian police state (a goal he has largely accomplished) and regain all the territory that the old USSR controlled, including Eastern Europe. Is that what you really want? Do you really think that would make the world a better place?

No. I don't think either extreme makes the world a better place.

That goes for all parties involved.

How so? I have not been following Trump much. What are his policies that will turn the country into a police state? And how does he plan to go around Congress and the Judicial Branch to implement his police state?
