Satoshi's genius was to disappear. Ethereum's creators have a stake in it, which is a moral hazard.

Agreed. Bitcoin gets the philosophy right. A fork for bug fixes is a completely different matter than for rolling back transactions.

They just view the transactions in question as side effects from a bug.
