Though I disagree with him, I think this is a very well written piece that showcases a different side of the political argument. It was a pleasant surprise for me that it was written by not just any conservative but one whose name I already knew.
Politics is, by it's very nature, the game of compromise and by telling conservatives to put people into categories doesn't really help that. If politicians refuse to play the game of compromise then the political system becomes extremely ineffective (i.e. what we have at the moment with Republican obstructionism)
