Edit: just had an idea; there is literally no reason I would be required to display my license plate number UNLESS I am pulled over and committing a crime. So fuck every plate scanner system. I don't need to provide you my identity pre-emptivly ever. Fuck you if you think otherwise. Pull me over if I am speeding or driving reckless - then determine who I am. They already do the "determine who I am part" with my ID. Plate scanning go fuck itself.

That's the only right the state should have on the roads.
