Oh, us poor Americans!

Something tells me this wouldn't be a headline if you replaced "Americans" with "Mexicans" or "Norwegians".

It wouldn't be applesauce if you replaced apples with oranges, either.

I suspect this would be a headline in a newspaper based in the capital cities of those countries.
