A lightweight menu-bar app. Hold a key, speak, release — the text appears at your cursor in any app, from Mail to Slack to your code editor. Polish it first if you like.
Two shortcuts, zero conflicts
Hold fn for push-to-talk or tap Right ⌘ for handsfree. Taps and key combinations pass straight through, so your keys keep working as normal.
Speak any language
Gemini detects the language automatically, or pick one of your recent languages from the menu bar to give it a hint.
Polish before you paste
A floating panel next to your cursor lets you clean up, translate, change tone, or run a saved prompt before the text goes in.

How it works
Three steps from typing to talking
Set it up once
On your phone, enable vBoard as a keyboard. On your Mac, drag it to Applications and grant Microphone and Accessibility.
Talk
Tap the mic on your phone, or hold fn on your Mac. Your words land as clean, punctuated text exactly where the cursor is.
Refine with AI
Rewrite, translate, fix tone, or run a saved prompt — by tap or by voice — without leaving what you were doing.
On your phone

Private by design
vBoard does not record or transmit what you type — your keystrokes stay on your device. Audio and text are sent for AI processing only when you explicitly start a dictation or run an AI action, never in the background. On Mac, audio goes straight to Gemini with your own key and never touches our servers. vBoard shows no ads. The Android app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to measure whether our ads lead to trials — app opens and a “trial started” event, never what you type or say. The iPhone and Mac apps contain no analytics at all.
