While the Go language is still under development you will run into problems from syntax and API changes. I think the existence of the gofix command speaks more about the quality of the effort put into Go as a whole. They actually put in the effort to make syntax and API changes as easy to fix as possible.
Our company had a security system installed with cameras and DVR. About a week after it was installed I scanned the internal network and found the device. Googled for the open port detected and found the software to access the device. Upon connecting to the device it asked for a user and password. I didn't enter any and it logged me in. I had control of the device. It's scary what "security" companies install on your network.
About time. Identifying people by IP address is like identifying people that live in a certain house. A house can have many people living in it. It's not a one-to-one mapping.

This exact same line of thinking went through my head a few days ago. Since I'm starting to toy with learning Japanese I wondered how a programming language with a SOV ordered syntax would look like. I guess now I know.
It seems a lot of people over look ESI support in Varnish. Proper use of ESI in pages that have content sections that update at different intervals can make a large impact.
