zer0c00ler··on Google to invest up to $2B in Anthropic
Maybe it only does a certain amount of sub queries? Like a DOS protection?

To be fair. It says research yourself and provided data for most of the others saving the user enormous amount of time.

The genie is out of the bag.

zer0c00ler··on Ask HN: 6 months later. How is Bard doing?
Bard’s biggest problem is it hallucinates too much. Point it to a YouTube video and ask to summarize? Rather then saying I can’t do that it will mostly make up stuff, same for websites.
zer0c00ler··on Degraded performance on ChatGPT
That plus they seem to have added additional security checks (probably doing multiple LLM calls, like additional validation calls) since about that enterprise announcement. I noticed certain things being a lot slower since a few days ago.
zer0c00ler··on We Call on FOSS Contributors to “Exit Zoom”
Google Meets is far behind- even image quality on 1-2 people call is quite low.
zer0c00ler··on White House Secures Commitments from Leading AI Companies to Manage AI Risks
Companies commit to testing systems - well, what about the commitment to actual fix problems?

Would have been nice to see that. Even right now there are known security vulnerabilities that were found through testing but haven’t been fixed.

zer0c00ler··on Experiencing decreased performance with ChatGPT-4
Most definitely not. I doubt there is a single person at OpenAI that knows and controls the whole stack.

Changes happen at many layers, ChatGPT UI, API Gateways, moderation API, backend server hosting model, the model file itself, etc.

Each of these components is changing pretty regularly it seem.

The end result of combined changes for users is being the observed degraded performance of ChatGPT.

zer0c00ler··on Tell HN: Seemingly receiving responses to other peoples prompt from GPT-4 API
Can you share the chats? New feature in ChatGPT.
zer0c00ler··on Microsoft, OpenAI sued for ChatGPT 'privacy violations'
Maybe as a result OpenAI will have to publish how they trained and what data was exactly used.
zer0c00ler··on OpenAI plans app store for AI software, The Information reports
Hopefully it will have a better quality of offerings then the current Plugin Store.
