I wonder if Gordon Brown would have tried to pass such legislations.
I was sold on Thrift but I think the popularity of REST made people take some weird decisions.
Internal services talking to each other using REST seemed like a bit too much, a place, where I though services like Thrift would have worked so well.
I have a feeling we'd feel better about reading the proper documentations as opposed to trying out random answers from SO.
If your daddy doesn't have money you can't get no education.
If your daddy doesn't have money you can't enough vitamins to get the brain or the proteins to get the muscles to work properly.
If your daddy doesn't have money you can't even shit with dignity.
Without a middle class or a rich daddy, you are basically screwed.
When 37% of Indians live below poverty line. I dunno how you think skill and nutrition levels are increasing. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poverty_in_India#Poverty_estima...
To get India going, we need to do all the the article is saying - spend on food, health and eduction. But I would add the state needs to do that, private sector will just screw the poor further - no deliberately, but shit happens.
Being optimistic is just that, optimistic.
1. Clearly he is politicly connected. You don't get govt funding in India without being connected to some member of parliament or another.
2. And he knows some serious science.
3. Is clearly an entrepreneur.
Well done him.
Never seen the point being made so fucking clearly. ;)
When you hear the message saying 'blah blah, leave a message after the tone'. Those seconds are charged to the caller.
Add up all those millions of seconds and the networks are rolling.
We all know what to do when the person is not there. I don't need to hear a 15 second message telling me yet again what to do.
I shared a google map (you know those created your maps things) and I didn't realise that it showed up on my g+.
All I thought was, wtf. I shared it from google maps and didn't have any intention of whatever circles it went to, to know about it.
Super confusing and worrying.
The beauty is that most real world users won't give a damn that not just friends and family, but the state would know where I went for a run as well - if they so wanted to know.
Scares me. So thumbs up for them users, but it ain't for me.
Telling you it is your own journal and allowing occasional sharing? So a personal blog that works from your smart phone and thus lets you do stuff that Wordpress won't?
I like it, I must say. But why would users use it? Self gratification? What is their business model? A la four square? Will they eventually have checkins and deals?
There is a problem in the product and we find ourselves questioning our ability, motivation and everything else.
Thanks for the post
Thanks for the page though, it is very clear and tells me how much I have been missing on whats been happening in the 'js scene'
