yankoff··on Review my Idea: Building Prototypes as a Business in Silicon Valley
Thanks for the response. Yes, there's no any particular angle I guess. Maybe only it's more focused on unfunded startups on very early stage. I'm a bit confused with how to estimate Y for now.
yankoff··on Alien developers/startupers (without H1B) in SF Bay Area. How many?
A little about myself:

I'm PHP/RoR/Javascript developer, live in SF for 1.5 year under F-1 visa and earn my living working remotely for non-american company based in Europe (no, seriously). Besides this I'm constantly trying to implement my own ideas, create my own apps, but as you understand doing that in complete solitude is not a simpliest task.

yankoff··on Ask HN: What are the best technologies you've worked with this year?
This post made my day. I've found some new interesting stuff from the comments. Thank you.

2010 was a year of discoveries for me. I started learning and using technologies like Ruby, Rails, Sinatra, HAML, Google Maps API v3. I started reading HN. Just in the end of the year I've discovered that with technologies like Rhodes framework, Appcelerator or Phonegap I can create iPhone/Android applications with HTML/Javascript or Ruby without knowing objective C. And this is just the most recent excitement I got.

Thank you for your feedback! UI definitely needs some improvements, I'm not a designer myself so I've just tried to do it more or less neat. I will look into other things like location choosing to make it more clear.
