Re: Apple. I don't get what you mean? https://www.apple.com/apple-intelligence/ still exists. Were you referring to the home page only?
wunderlotus··on The OpenAI Deployment Company

wunderlotus··on Why most product tours get skipped
Literally! An example of a product that does it well is the game company Puzzmo. They don’t force you to read instructions. They actually minimize them and let you “figure it out”. They’re there if you want them but most ppl just want to play so you can do that too.
wunderlotus··on Proton Meet
Sigh. I guess I’m less amen less the target audience for proton as they (understandably) focus on enterprise/business customers. But bloody hell, I wish they would fix their core products before rolling out all these new ones. Yes, people want to DeGoogle. Fair. But also, people (me!) just want proton mail to easily let me set up basic rules and bulk operations.
wunderlotus··on Ask HN: Is it just me or is Claude Code getting worse?
tysm for taking the time to write this in detail
wunderlotus··on Ghostty is leaving GitHub
* I quoted wrong. Sorry, still new here
wunderlotus··on Ghostty is leaving GitHub
> It was positioned as a benevolent acquisition for the good of the development community. call me a skeptic, but can (and has) such a model existed in a capitalist system?
wunderlotus··on Show HN: PrePrompt – rewrites vague prompts before they reach the LLM
i like the design you used for the site. CC inspired but still nice and clean.
wunderlotus··on Show HN: A social feed with no strangers
Would love this if I could convince my friends to download it.
wunderlotus··on Molotov cocktail is hurled at home of Sam Altman
> going around bragging about how many people they're going to push out of employment.

When have they bragged about this?

wunderlotus··on Molotov cocktail is hurled at home of Sam Altman
It’s plausible but gosh, I certainly hope not. That is such a sad world to live in.
wunderlotus··on The $400K Degree Is Broken. Here Is How to Fix It
Your spoiler is well put and that’s honestly where the conversation should always start.

Curious about what you think these economic corrections should look like.

wunderlotus··on Show HN: WhyThere.life – Compare cities side-by-side to decide where to move
This is a cool tool overall.

I wish the city names were sticky upon scroll when comparing. I kept scrolling up to remember which city was on the left or right.

Also, the data sources cite mostly US info but I followed the flow and ended up at Munich vs Barcelona. Not sure where that data is coming from and if it's accurate.

wunderlotus··on French e, è, é, ê, ë – what's the difference?
This is freaking genius!
wunderlotus··on Personal Encyclopedias
This is so freaking cool and part of me wants to try it, but the other part is scared of the privacy implications. Even though I love (and for now, trust) Anthropic, knowing that obviously Claude Opus is the best model (as stated in the docs), I'm just not sure I want to give it access to everything about me? But at the same time, I'm so curious as to what it would come up with.
wunderlotus··on Show HN: AI Roundtable – Let 200 models debate your question
i have thoroughly enjoyed reading a bazillion one of these
wunderlotus··on Now Reddit are coming for the individual personal subreddits
I’ve tried to use discord a million times and always fail because of this.
