I don't think parent meant that we should use box office number to decide if movie is great. Just that it is a most objective "score" attached to the movie title. For instance, one can use this score as a proxy to how popular the movie is.

If you are picking a surgeons based on this criteria, you are paying way too much for a 10 minutes conversation aka bedside manners. I personally will go with the rudest mf-er that will fix me right the first time.

The cars with more than 5 seats do exist. If cost is not an issue as you suggest, it is pretty feasible to have 4+ children. It is even easier if you are not aiming to have them born in a rapid succession. Older kids can ride upfront.

Isn't fee based on location of where the service is provided? My ISP at the rental property doesn't care about my residential address. They only care about the address where their service is consumed. You can stop worrying about that restaurant, they will charge same fee all their customers as long as they don't deliver.

Somehow T-Mobile figured that out. And charge me a nice round numbers that include all their fees and taxes. They are also able to advertise their prices nationwide.

People like to throw numbers like 90°F at 90%+ humidity. It doesn't work like this. If you look at the hourly data for Bentonville, AR (Northwest Arkansas) on the hottest day of the month [1] you see that by the time temperature got to 101°F humidity was at 32%. It is sticky as hell, but I guess as a number 30% doesn't sound impressive enough.

I use two labels. One is code to identify the box (GLS-1 for garage left shelf #1), another label lists some details of the content of the box. And a google sheet with the box Ids and a corresponding list of items. Easy to search, and I don't have to go from room to room checking each box.

I do not agree. Today Directors returned this much money, and headline correctly reflects this. If headline said something like “directors were paid $735M back in 2020” then it would be a spin.

They paid themselves ~$90M (priced at the time of grants) in a period of 3 years, When lawsuit was filed stock was just 3x-4x from the grant times. Seems to me you are spinning that number in the opposite direction for some reason.

Technically the board is not the management. They have a very indirect effect on stock performance. More importantly, TSLA remained flat (moving around $17) between 2017 and 2020 when this huge payouts were granted:

You are way too optimistic about the weight. ViewSonic p225f with 20" visible display, that reportedly was capable of 2560x1920/63Hz weighted 30.5 kgs!

I am not sure with that dot pitch of 0.25mm it was worth it.

I agree with you. But I believe there are two ways to sell a weapons program to the public. One is covered by your baseball analogy. Yes, you want to be self-reliant and be able to manufacture critical defense systems in case of a hypothetical all-out war. But job programs have some immediate benefits for both politicians and their constituents.
