You could make it work if you let the restaurant handle the delivery, domicilios.com (a Colombian company) used to do this, they were basically online restaurants Telephone directory with a nice UI, The restaurants pay a monthly fee to be in the site.

It worked really well until rappi(Latam equivalent of doordash) came in with a billion of dollars from softbank.

Not exactly, the fact that a NoSQL database doesn't enforce a data scheme doesn't mean you don't need a clear scheme which your app use, even if the schema is as simple as just take whatever the format that the frontend use.

Because if you don't your database essentially becomes a write-only vault since you don't have any idea of how your data is stored or was stored in the past.

WoW, your app is exactly what I had been looking for, most budgeting apps have gorgeous Graphs and stats but keeping it updated is really annoying, using SMS as the medium is genius. In fact, when I got some free time I'm going to make my own version but with WhatsApp or telegram on top of the SMS.
