When I used to do small/medium client work, I used Kirby CMS (For context, Kirby is a flat file CMS). None of them needed the power or flexibility of MySQL or even SQLite, so it was perfect. PHP scripts can still filter the flat files to create collections of categories or tags, so they didn't miss anything since it's not a static site. No need to recompile if you wanted to add a tag to everything. PHP is even faster today but back then it was still fast enough for basic pages and blogging.

I highly recommend it even though it's not free because it's highly refined and actively developed year round because of their pricing model.

I highly doubt that, since you have to board 20 minutes before take off, plus the time it takes to get through security, as well as getting to the airport which won't be in the city center.

You mention legal speed of ebikes but use mph- what country are you in? In the USA, it's 28mph.

Also, my ebike does fine for parcels/shopping, it has a rack. If it's hot I use more vehicle assist and less human power. I see cargo bikes for larger loads like children.

Ebikes may not be for everyone, but they're much better than you portray.

I love meat and regularly buy these instead of hamburgers. While shopping for vegan Thanksgiving guests I saw some patties that imitate chicken. Going to try those out soon too.

I think this is a fallacy. Why should the transportation infrastructure be built for those who don't live there? When cities are built for cars, then cars is what they get. But if they build for other modes, then those modes because much more preferable. The preference of these occasional visitors shouldn't be dictating the immense budgetary concerns of maintaining car infrastructures. There's no reason folks coming from outside the city can't park at a periphery (or even central) parking structure and then bus/walk/bike to their destination, if we take the original corollary that Eau Claire gets perfect bike infrastructure tomorrow.

I do appreciate the math you've done. Assuming it's all accurate, those are good points about density and temperature averages. However people can still walk and bike safely in that weather, extra buses can be scheduled during the winter months, and if the majority of the folks live in the city like you said, it's best to serve them with better pedestrian infrastructure due to the quality of life, safety, and money savings the population would receive.

Considering the fact that northern European folks in bike oriented cities can do it, I'm sure the folks in Eau Claire can prove themselves just as tough.

Fiasco is kind of tough because there's no real conflict resolution like in more traditional RPGs. Even in something with complex dice rolls like Genesys, there's an outcome decided and you can use that to guide actions and outcomes. With Fiasco, it really just is improv scenes and you play up your relationships and goals.

I totally agree it can be fun with the right group, but the right group is either very open minded and comfortable with each other, or decent or better improv players.

I've always been of the opinion that 36 is too few, but this does a good job of converting me. I already do similar stuff with layers ie: one layer for a right hand numpad, another for home row arrows and some common programmer symbols.

Looks great, and it's a huge achievement to design something so sleek and alluring like this. Bravo on including an encoder. I would be interested in buying, but I can't ever go back to a staggered layout. Even straight but ortholinear boards are a strain. Something like the Keyboardio Atreus with an extra column on the sides would be ideal- small enough to travel with, enough keys to not need a huge amount of layers.

This is a silly argument- a subjective situation vs an objective one. Can electric pressure washers output a stream of similar force to ICE washers? This can be quantified. While fake burgers don't taste exactly like hamburger, saying they taste like garbage is something without quantification.

Can't keep up with what? There's a few Javascript frameworks, and React is the lion's share of job postings. There's a few build tools but most everyone uses Webpack. The unit testing tools work on frontend and backend, and mostly seem to center around Mocha or Jest.

There was a short lived explosion of frontend frameworks that grognards drag up like it's a relevant problem, but serving up HTML from a server side route has always been an option.

I'm on a Windows laptop and use Teams for work. It's not as bad as the OP but still impressively substandard. Often times I won't be able to join a call and it'll freeze the entire program. I'll use ctrl+alt+delete to clear it from Task Manager and restart it and it still can't connect. A full reboot is needed.
