What does it do that WebStorm doesn't? I tried to go from Intellij to Sublime but found so many things were missing, even after installing a pile of plugins.

How do you install it?

I searched for your site and found lots of pages about vibrators - not sure if that's a good or bad thing.

And yet: Windows 8: 20gb (vs 1gb Ubuntu) Visual Studio: 2gb (vs 300mb Intellij) SQL Server: 5gb (vs 100mb Postgres) .net: 2gb (vs 20mb Python) (All guesses and silly comparisons, admittedly)

There seems to be quite a lot of lines of code there.

The music fits surprisingly well, its Interstate by The Juice To Make It Happen, whoever they are.

I also have this same problem. It's one of the things which has made me think about switching to web2py - you can edit templates and css, and do commits directly in the admin. There is something a bit crazy about it though. Alternatively I don't think it would be that difficult to put a decent JavaScript-based editor on a page and allow editing of certain files, combined with a way of running the collectstatic management command. Difficult enough for me to not have tried it though.

Finally, something on HN that I actually understand. I get what the writer is saying but have a few reservations:

- sometimes it's easier to wash things after you've left them to soak overnight or for a few hours

- it doesn't make sense to do the washing up for one teaspoon, it's better to wait until it all accumulates and then do it all in one go (that's my excuse, anyway)

- I highly doubt that doing other people's washing up will make them do their washing up
