Ahh, you are mistaking Great Product™ (performs in the market) for great product (genuinely moves humanity forward)
weeboid··on Product-focused and sales-focused companies
Ha, I got past the sales-driven company caricature, into the product led, and thought: "Well, like many things, it depends. "Which blend best suits the market?"

Market driven companies, ta-da! Lol

weeboid··on Dolt is Git for Data: a SQL database that you can fork, clone, branch, merge
Scanned for this comment before making it. This optically reads as "Dolt", not "DoIt"

weeboid··on I Really Blew It (2020)

weeboid··on Hedge fund Melvin sustains 53% loss after Reddit onslaught
Doesn’t this 50% loss apply to the cum sum of gains though?

That is, if I started with $1 and made $1,000, a 50% loss would still be $500

weeboid··on The Pros and Cons of DRY Code

Think tags on items represented on a tree, where clicking the tag reorients the category around what you clicked on.

weeboid··on The Architecture of My Life
Ha, thank you. Ok, incorporating this into some post nerd rap trap dubs next week
weeboid··on How to Turn an IKEA Coffee Table into a DIY Server Rack
Threadripper and 10 SSD RAID array, everything liquid cooled with one large slow fan. Throw in some LED edge RAM
weeboid··on The Architecture of My Life

weeboid··on Losing faith in UX
The irony is if OP had only used Google Map's parent product …
weeboid··on Losing faith in UX
Easy, incentivized signup with difficult off-ramping has been a business model since … forever. This is not new to digital, it is much more nefarious as the possibility domain with ability to quickly iterate patterns is much higher.

OP is focused on retail/consumer space, UX is still a huge diff in enterprise and will continue to reside at or near the C suite
