Be warned, we still think press plays a major role as a distribution channel, compared to these sites that will only bring you beta users, in the hundreds. :)

vuzumon Ask HN: Who is hiring? (September 2013)

Blogvio (IS, Romania) - Sorry, no remote work.

We’re an early-stage startup (in Private Beta: http://www.blogvio.com/) focused on making content distribution easy and fun! We love our work and what we’re learning and building together.

We are currently seeking a few developers to join the team and help us reach our goals. Our web stack is based on Symfony, a custom implementation of SpineJS / CofeeScript and MongoDB. Ideally you’re also experienced with Stylus / NIB, enjoy analytics and have some front end skills (Ajax, HTML5, CSS3).

Competitive salary commensurate with skills and experience.

SEEKING WORK - Remote / Romania & Spain

We're digital agency Vuzum, a small team of 12. We build web and mobile applications. http://www.vuzum.com

vuzumon Poll: What was your financial situation when you started your startup?

We helped others building their startups first. :-)

And we still do. Except now we have the cash needed to invest in our own as well. And we have learned a lot along the way too.

Bootstrapping is hard. And it isn't for everyone. You need to make a lot of sacrifices, and you might end up loosing years of your life trying. Success is definitely not guaranteed.

vuzumon Ask HN: Who Is Hiring? (November 2012)

This sounds pretty slick! I'd love to discuss more about the opportunities of this job, as we're a team, and lately we've been involved in building startups more than other type of projects. And we kind of love the change. :)
