vividmind··on Ask HN: How do you read Hacker news?
Look at the link/article first. If I'm interested in the topic I'll read comments.

I read both the main page and occasionally switch to new topics only.

That's about it...

vividmind··on Site that made my day
I was blown away by the video and overall humorous style of the website. These guys deserve to be extremely successful! Kudos folks and thanks for launching in Canada finally...
vividmind··on Show HN: my weekend project, Quotably
I had a similar weekend project - http://kidactivityideas.com - where I had a similar issue with "randomness". I decided to save the pseudo-random generator seed in a cookie and thus keep the sequence for each visitor.

Are you guys using their API or RSS/scraping?
vividmind··on Show HN: my weekend project, Quotably
I love simple and elegant apps like this! Kudos and I wish you to keep it growing! Shared...
vividmind··on Global Rich List
One disadvantage though - it stops working after 107,565 position. You could've included some wealthy guys stats as well. Not that I earn that much, but it would be interesting to see the perspective :)
vividmind··on Global Rich List
This is a great site, I like the idea and how it's implemented! Definitely makes you think.
vividmind··on If You're Too Busy to Meditate, Read This
I use fishing for the same purposes. Helps me concentrate on just that activity and get my mind off work-related stuff. Every time after a fishing trip I feel really rested, although might be tired a bit physically.
vividmind··on Show HN: Meet your cardboard buddy.
Very nice and cute. I'd definitely use for gifts.

Bug report: the rotation and bottom scrolling buttons for lists didn't work for me in Chrome.

vividmind··on With all else equal, which one do you most want to build a business around?
Why can't you combine them? I can see all these (perhaps with the exception of 3) being perfectly blend-able.
vividmind··on Is Facebook dying?
I had a chance to work directly with Facebook API and in terms of documentation, bugs, overall robustness I can tell that it's pretty crappy. Takes a lot of effort to do simple stuff and things are often not working. That definitely doesn't look as a good trend.

Twitter API looked a lot more solid to me.

Anyways, just my 2 cents from a dev POV...

vividmind··on Shitter: Toilet Paper of Tweets
+1 on having seeing the pricing first. I wonder how you are going to keep up with orders :)
