But I always liked SUN Solaris for its features and solutions.
If you just want to execute it then it is a footgun - using only the !command syntax.
If you use the !command:p syntax then you are just printing what command has been executed instead of invoking it.
Example.
% uname
FreeBSD
% !uname
uname
FreeBSD
% !uname:p
uname
%With ZFS Boot Environments you are bulletproof on upgrades and major changes.

I will try them in my next 'free time' window and maybe add some update to the article.

What do you mean by that sir? :)
If the host system is Windows then its Linux Subsystem for Windows.
Please do not fuck with logic.
For the hardware I use MiniITX motherboards with low power 6W TDP CPU.
Disks are 2.5 4TB or 5TB in mirror on not depending in the needs.

# pkg install nanoBut from all filesystems ZFS works best of all when you do not have ECC RAM.
The 'requirement' that ZFS needs ECC RAM to work properly is one of the biggest myths of the Internet ...
By using ZFS Boot Environments.
IMHO implemented or ported is better word here.
The closest you can get is BastilleBSD (framework for FreeBSD Jails) and their templates - available here:

how that LTO-7 drive is attached to the host? Is it USB 3.0 external drive or internal drive with additional controller?
Thanks.
