vadepaysa··on macOS Tahoe
I've grown so used to Apple shipping buggy software that I wait a year or more before upgrading my mac to a major version. I do all the minor releases and security patches, of course.
vadepaysa··on The Rise of Hybrid PHP: Blending PHP with Go and Rust
I owe a large part of my career success to PHP when I learned it back in the day. But recently I picked it up because I had to do some maintenance work and The package management experience was really, really bad.

I really think there's a big opportunity for somebody to create the astral.sh for PHP.

With a proper package manager, PHP can do way more than what it presently can.

vadepaysa··on How we exploited CodeRabbit: From simple PR to RCE and write access on 1M repos
I cancelled my coderabbit paid subscription, because it always worries me when a post has to go viral on HN for a company to even acknowledge an issue occurred. Their blogs are clean of any mention of this vulnerability and they don't have any new posts today either.

I understand mistakes happen, but lack of transparency when these happen makes them look bad.

vadepaysa··on Show HN: A code editor that integrates into the browser
Alright! I found the issue. Its adblock interfering with some library donwloads. I disabled adblock and it works now. Thank You

great idea! but I've had trouble getting it to work. Try this sample JSON here https://gist.github.com/sunilshenoy/23a3e7132c27d62599ba741b... and click on RAW. Tachi pops up but fails to show the json.

I'll keep the extension installed for now, hoping you'll patch it.

vadepaysa··on Cerebras launches Qwen3-235B, achieving 1.5k tokens per second
While the speeds are great, in my experience with Cerebras, its really hard to get any actual production level rate limits or token quantity allocations. We cannot design systems around them and we use other vendors.

We've spoken to their sales teams, and we've been told no.

vadepaysa··on Show HN: CodePair - etherpad + codechecker + analytics for interviews
This is awesome. I always ask people to code in phone interviews and I use Googe Docs.

You will be surprised at the number of people who have good resumes but cannot code at all. Watching someone code even a simple Fizz Buzz problem will help you understand the person's programming abilities better.

It drowns the voices of my co-workers talking around me..

Thanks, the point of the video is to help our brains to visualize the surroundings. Even if you look at the video for just a few seconds, the image will remain in our minds.

1. Will look at it 2. Possibly fb's implementation. I just use their standard like button.

Thanks a bunch for the bug reports. Will fix them.
