How are all these people that are unable to get an ID able to finance a car, pass an apartment background check, open a bank account, buy alcohol, obtain govt. assistance etc?

In order for me to add my family to my insurance I had to provide identification for each of them, including a marriage certificate and drivers licenses for myself and my wife. All that just to get health insurance.

In order to vote you should have to identify yourself and that you are eligible to vote in a US election. It's complete nonsense that getting an ID in the US is just too much of a burden.

It was never about black lives either. If it was then they would care about the black on black violence in Chicago, for example. BLM is a marxist, anti American, anti nuclear family organization. It was all clearly and openly stated on their website.

Alcohol removes my anxiety/stress nearly every time I consume some. Depending on how much I consume the next day my anxiety could be worse though.

A good alternative with similar results is Delta 8. Lower potency and less likely to cause any freak out moments.

The current administration has completely incentivized illegally entering the US by offering free handouts, including paying families millions in tax payers dollars. Illegal immigration was down throughout the Trump administration, with and without covid.

Walls are very effective tools to protect property. They are used by millions of Americans and businesses to protect their homes and businesses every day. I personally have a fence, a type of wall, to protect my property and it's been 100% effective.

I'm not even sure it matters at this point. Most houses in my neighborhood have a doorbell or some kind of camera. What I use doesn't matter since all the other houses are recording me. You might as well just buy the one that has the price and features you need.

Yes. I've been on/off (mostly on) them for around 20 years. It started when I was young and a girl broke my heart. I just couldn't get out of my "funk". I started taking Zoloft and it gave me a life again. I probably have social anxiety and I am def. more comfortable in public and around people I don't know when I'm on an SSRI. I am not as negative and cynical and have hope for the future. I don't want to take them, wish I didn't have too but even with consistent exercise, therapy etc. it just wasn't enough without the medical help.

Don't blame the users. Blame the choices that Facebook has made. They WANT the toxicity, it keeps people's eyes on their phone.

I'd imagine it's not that hard to tie a "Meta" user back to a "Facebook" user. Seems like it's all just for PR.

I wonder how many are still actively being used. I bought the Oculus quest early on. Spent a bunch on different games, hooked it up and played PC VR games. Used it nearly daily for a few months but have since given it away. Partly due to the current limitations of VR tech (it's heavy, screen resolution is still very low, need a large space to really play it) as well as now having to use a Facebook account.

I would imagine if enough people made that choice it would eventually come up in a shareholder meeting as it would affect their active number of users. I'm not sure how they report this if you just don't use your account for a long period of time.

Are the hospitalizations actually from covid? Or did they show up to the hospital for a separate reason and happened to have positive covid test as well?

Hospitals are a business. They only have room for patients as long as it is profitable. Covid pays the best right now so that is where they are focusing their business.

As a parent of three home schooled children, the social aspect is always brought up by those not informed about home schooling. My kids are socialized through various group activities (P.E, dance, piano, art classes etc.) and with close friends. They also have friends of various age groups since they are not forced to socialize with kids of their age group as they would in public schools. Overall I find the social aspect to be of higher quality than my experience as a kid going through public schools. One big benefit is not having to deal with being bullied, which is very common in public schools.

If you and your family are vaccinated then you have nothing to worry about. Right?

This has never been about them caring about the health of their citizens (feel free to smoke and drink all you want). Those in power aren't even able to follow their ridiculous health standards they've created. One politician after another is spotted not wearing a mask, going to places they told us not to etc.. It's such a sad state we are in now and I fear we've gone too far to undo it.

I would agree. My first programming job was terrible. But I learned what type of people and companies to avoid and that made picking a new job much easier down the road.
