All of these widget companies seem like a bit of a scam to me. Do you really need $36M to create a bunch of crappy widgets? I've never even seen a widget from RockYou/Slide/Widgetbox/Clearspring on any of the sites I visit.
It's simple: if you're not selling anything, whether it's goods, services, or ads, then you're not making money. Not all sites on the Internet exist for profit.
Submissions like this are only useful for people too unmotivated to Google for "SICP".

If you were really interested in SICP, then you probably would have already found this link. It's the 2nd result on Google for "SICP". A blog post on the merits of SICP would be more useful.
A few curious trolls probably wandered over and created new accounts. Of course, that's not Antonio's fault. I liked his post. :)

This is a 4-part interview with Ira Glass on storytelling. I thought it was pretty insightful.
I don't think it's a very good idea to use electronics while you're cooking. Getting grease on anything that can't be scrubbed under running water is very irritating. There's a more durable solution to this: paper. You don't have to worry about washing your hands before touching it and if you splatter food on it then it's disposable.
What are some use cases?
Realistically, though, why would anyone bother to plug a keyboard into this thing? Why wouldn't you just use your laptop or desktop?
The entire point of having a VPS is that you're guaranteed a slice of the server to do what you want. If your provider is somehow monitoring your processes, sniffing your traffic, and setting restrictions on your applications, then I would find another one.
Amazon Web Services does not ban BitTorrent or IRC. They actually support BT as an official delivery method from S3.

Amazon is protected by DMCA Safe Harbor provisions and doesn't have to act until they've received notice of copyright infringement on their servers.
There are many legitimate uses for BitTorrent, I don't see Amazon putting an outright ban on torrent usage on their servers. It limits their usefulness as a generic hosting provider to only allow certain types of traffic.

I think you're too busy trying to troll that you forget that they're not trying to be Dior or Gucci.
You should be ashamed of yourself if you voted for this submission.

I don't think the price is unreasonable for a 24" LED-backlit display. What are some cheaper models with the same specs?
