With centralization we're delegating the act and responsibility of filtering to third parties.
Here is their founder giving a presentation about it at the Decentralized AI Summit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9QMgVsbHu98
It ties together things like the "Who owns the future" book by Jaron Lanier and AI/Bots/APIs for new economies.
Numerai also wants to monopolize Data and ML models in a decentralized way, and I believe that is also on Ethereum.
There is also Enigma, Doc.ai, and a few others if you're interested in this space.
Using the blockchain for decentralized access to distributed machine learning models and creating a heterogenous network of autonomous agents that can collaborate, learn, and grow will be huge. One of the companies I see doing that right now is https://synapse.ai/ and it's pretty epic if you dig into their yellow paper.
When we start building a global brain where everyone can contribute, then we'll really start seeing what the future can hold.
They want to decentralize AI and facilitate democratized AI economies on the blockchain.
