These fires were delivered to you by arsonists, not climate change. I'm not a climate denier, but this is akin to blaming everything on a lack of penance to a vengeful God.
A disease that makes you cough up blood, is highly mutable and can be spread for 2 weeks prior to experiencing symptoms is not to be dismissed as just the same as a flu.
China is all about showing a good image to the rest of the world and their own population, and this outbreak goes in the face of that.
Don't confuse this with the excellent NixOS: http://nixos.org/
As far as projects, they're all school homework assignments, right? I'd get rid of all them except the ones you really are proud of, and if possible have a link to the source code on the resume. Otherwise it looks like your desperately padding.
It's alright to have a short resume. If you are straight out of college, it's expected, and some employers prefer younger, less experienced workers because they are more likely to do what their told. What isn't cool, though, is to try and make it look like you have more experience then you do, and then when someone reads your resume more closely, they discover that you've been trying to look like something you're not.
I think this depends on what your definition of backed means. If you include the government not just buying the currency for a given amount of gold, but also selling the currency for the same amount of gold, I agree.
But, otherwise, if the government guarantees it will only buy the currency for gold and not vice versa, then I disagree. For example, I could state tomorrow that I will guarantee to give anyone 1 oz. of gold is they give me $100 trillion in USD, and then technically USD would be backed by gold (by me), but such an offer would have no real effect on the how the market would value USD.
I might be wrong about what backed means, but if so, then I also don't understand what is meant by partially backed.
After that, they are the same (but keep in mind, the value of a currency is dependent on a lot of factors, and not just the gold that is backing it. Otherwise currencies backed by nothing would all be worth nothing, which we know isn't true).
The actual number is probably higher, but doesn't compare to the USA with 24 million drug abusers out of a population of 331 million or 7.25%. https://www.drugabuse.gov/publications/drugfacts/nationwide-...
Where are you getting your information from that it is a problem in Hong Kong?
And if its slavery, then why are European cities the same way?
