Just dont put your name on projects like this. Had to learn myself the hard way 15 years ago. Just do it, fly under the radar, stay pseudonymous, go the hacker way.

The source is open in the internet. Everyone can train with the SO-data.

Never did.

You can easily create blind tests and they speak a very clear outcome.

Yeah, good luck with keeping something open sourced secret again. Worked like a charm with encryption and DVDs CSS.

I replaced my Art department of 0 people in my hobby project with midjourney and added 2500+ visuals to my hobby project (online-RPG). So on the one hand you are right, on the other hand...

Hands are a more or less solved problem. At least in midjourney.

How are they becoming a monopoly with midjourney and stable diffusion as strong opponents?

It's hard to make money if anyone can copy (and improve!) your work.

The use is and was, to discover new sites on a specific interesting topic.

I don't see the discussion on Twitter as I have no account and do not see.the answers on Twitter, but don't you just need virtualbox?

CD-Roms are still there and the the underlying tech is also still the same.

Those sites are still being made. You just do not find them with google. Maybe it is time to bring back curated lists and web rings.

WinRAR has been developed by win.rar GmbH from Berlin since 1995. This is still majority-owned by the two founders Burak Canboy and Öncül Kaya. Approximately 12% of the shares in WinRAR GmbH belong to the company Givanto.[3]

Just not cheap.

I would not give much on those gambled page speed analysis. It comes down to: is ist fast enough? The answer clearly was yes during all those years for the users.

Yes, and too many people still think bandwidth equals good latency. It does not!

But having 32 real cores in a cpu is so much cheaper than having mumtiple gpus. RAM is also much cheaper as VRAM.

Well the Llama.cpp running on CPUs with decent speed and fast development improvements, hints towards CPUs. And there the size of the model is less important as the RAM is the limit. At least for interference this is now a viable alternative.

They probably just use the same Perl scripts like the old share hosters from the late 90s early 00s, but with a complete state of the art JS frontend. ;)

Totally depends on your use case. There are optimized models for stories, code, knowlegde...

Because no one uses a scanner? Or how did you come to this conclusion?

Or do you mean official verified and stamped translations?

HN is not "most people".

Genuine question, why is HN so obsessed with fonts? Most people do not care at all. And we all know the strange love towards comic sans from "not computer people", that might even show a complete different understanding of beauty.

I am sorry, i will start writing on my clay tablet right away.

Do you get uncensored answers with this? Oftentimes it produces false positives for my workload, and i dont care for feedback buttons during work hours.

You are mixing live costs with tution costs. That way even jobs are costing you money. So it stays: BS

It totally depends on the company. But if pull something like burnout, you should be careful to cover your story why you were not able to relax properly.

No, the employee is also required to do that by law.

BS.

and please Mr. Hacker, also upload a copy of your ID Card. I really would like to talk to you. - a secret admirer of your work and totally not some agent
