I also looked for any import css code in their source, and it looks like they don't use import, which is sometimes has issues with rendering the css.
I would check the console in your browser and try to investigate this further. I didn't get any errors in my console.
Any and every single open forum is susceptible to this, and while I think these posts could or should be taken down given context, it doesn't mean Twitter should be responsible.
I'd like to see some explanation as to why this wouldn't work with a larger nation and not simply, because.
I mean, I can't imagine being in finance and bragging about it to other types of people. Every article related to this stuff always has one line, and I quote:
"Should more bankers be in prison?"
Hopefully this will sort itself out in 20 years, but I'm curious if any of you think bankers SHOULDN'T have more liability when it comes to unlawful, or even legally gray practices. I mean, as tech people, don't we all mostly adhere to a code of ethics?
Regarding the expansion of copyright in the near future, do you think that the general public of the US will simply allow things to get out of hand before making concessions like you suggested (GFDL/GPL), or will the internet (software?) as we know it simply be overtaken, with the only recourse to simply use another paradigm for open communication and sharing.
My opinion is that, with more and more older people adopting technology, and younger people being born (obviously, right?), we'll in a general public sense, shift our priorities to a more logical and open copyright system. I would give it 20-30 years though...

But seriously, I think HN must have a keyword bump, namely for U.S./Copyright/Show HN. It also probably has a few elite sites that rank high, like the Atlantic, and Tech Crunch. That or because it was voted up twice in new within it's first minute of being posted, which resulted in the front page, which only exacerbates the process.
To simplify the arguments:
Pro (Current) Copyright: We need to protect artists. We need to protect the invested parties interests.
Against (Current) Copyright: Internet. It's companies who Copyright protects not Artists. Copyright actually stifles creativity and application of invention.
That's my take of this whole thing anyway. I don't care either way to be honest. It's all high level creation issues, and I've never had a personal run in to warrant an extreme positioning either way. I'd like is someone could give a more detailed explanation or correct any of my takeaways.
Cheers
Unfortunately for him, the idea that the middle class doesn't exist is incorrect. I know because according to some sources, almost half of the world now fits in this class. Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Middle_class#Recent_growth_of_t...
When you also factor in that more and more young people are viewing excess spending and wealth after meeting ones needs as excessive and look down upon it, then you could also point to a future where we actually shift from this purely capitalist view to a more social capital view point.
Regardless of what you think, it's all speculation.
Agreed on this being a terrible article, but it does highlight one thing; punishing teens for this is not the way to go. I think diluting the sex criminal database with a quarter of the upcoming generation is a little counter productive.
And while I understand that this is an appeal to nature. It doesn't matter whether this is good or bad; it's necessary. Anybody making the claim that it isn't is ignoring collateral mentioned in the article, and is really just leaning on one side of two different, but albeit very important classes of organisms. I'd prefer to treat them fairly. Eat them both!
I personally think sustenance is a health not a moral issue. I believe certain organisms must die in order for us to thrive. This means eliminating certain germs, certain bacteria, certain dangerous plants, and certain delicious animals/plants.
And while we can eliminate eating meat directly, I think the article makes a good point about collateral damage.
So then what should we do? If any morality based on our small understanding of suffering is largely unknowable, then why should it be immoral to eat animals? Furthermore, is this a question of knowing, or is it universal? Is it alright for tribesmen to kill animals if they haven't even considered the animal's suffering?
And while we as a species can use our brains to resist eating animals, we can't resist eating both fauna and flora.
Or can you manufacture entanglement with each connection, where you initiate the entanglement with a client, and maintain that connection during transport? I'm really just curious if you can use this technology, and literally replace the methods of connections and transport as we use them now, or if this is simply a single function method.
