Just a small question. Why does crashing a plane cause such a huge discussion and such an impressive sentence? unless someone causes damage to any public or private property while crashing the plane it's a harmless thing to do. Who is it hurting and why is the YouTuber punished?Curious.
In India this summer was really cold compared to previous years. normally the temperatures hover around 45C but this time it barely went above 40C. And it even rained all over the place in summer. Not sure if this was some freak incident or is it related to ENSO(El nino southern oscillations) though. can't find enough information on the topic.
It's a game and games are nice. why can't it be on HN? HNers shouldn't play games? This is a great AAA title from a famous franchise of a famous company. Ofcourse everyone is excited about it!
I've tried but there's not enough momentum on this issue. Nobody cares. Can't find anyone who cares about the issue AND has the power/ability to cause change. There's no law too against this AFAIK. so there's no way forward that I can see.
My Indian university does this and I'm powerless. Emailing then or convincing them didn't help. Atleast Europeans care about privacy. Everyone looked at me like I was retarded when I tried to explain the issue to them.
I mean, Its just marketing. Everyone knows how BS marketing always is, be it whatever company or product. I feel we should just take statements by marketing teams of companies with a grain of salt and just move on. Bringing the issue to light is not a wrong thing to do but I personally felt keepass's tweet felt quite confronting to me. Maybe it's because I'm not familiar with twitter culture. Who knows... Just my 2cents
do we know they don't treat their prey with respect? why do we assume to be so. We can't know what they are thinking so assuming they are dumb and we are superior is not the right thing. Maybe they do have feelings. Its just that we don't know if they have or not.
royal bengal Tigers are the SAME as Indian Tigers. The British first saw them in bengal and hence their name. They are spread all over India
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bengal_tiger
the sunderbans have a very low amount of Tigers. Most of India's Tigers are in the states of madhya pradesh, Karnataka and maharashtra which are not affected by rising sea levels as much as bengal as they are plateaus.
definetly.
I don't think it's right when openai scraped data without consent from other resources. I feel that if openai can get data from the internet bard or someone else too can do it. Now being that chatgpt is also a part of the internet it's a fair game IMHO.
whenever I had holidays I'd go home from uni and just feel sleepy all day. My family always wanted to go out but would cancel plan because of me. I never felt that sleepy back at uni tho.
