In my personal experience a lot of the people involved in Facebook Russian influence operations are post Soviet exodus diaspora boomers. They share the content produced by the troll farms.

X has revenue share for popular posts.

Indians pretend to be Israelis because they don't like Muslims who they see as similar to Pakistanis.

Country of origin is based on IP. Many British accounts are using VPNs due to the online safety act and this is noted by X. X also shows the country of the app store the app was downloaded from which is more accurate.

Ironically many of the people in favor of banning VPNs are themselves using a VPN.

I suspect it's limited by what the request was for. Waymo has to create the high res map before they can offer service.

It's disappointing that where I live is politically difficult and waymo won't come anytime soon.

Don't give them ideas.

I would consider a lack of liquid glass to be a positive.

That already happened. Phones used to be $600. Now it's 1k+.

I'm sure they're trying to change that. OEMs are now using the infotainment screen to advertise their new models.

Increasingly phones are being obsoleted by software and not the hardware which is still technically capable of running n+7 yearly OS. 10 years would be a good target for software support.

No, the harm needs to be considered. Usually courts dont take kindly to people obviously skirting the rules. It's not really a different company if it uses the same design and factory/tooling.

The goal is to create more competition and not entrench existing players through burdensome regulation that treats kit cars the same as GM.

More regulations need phase in clauses. If you build <100 vehicles a year almost no regulation should apply. Give people room to demonstrate the case for change.

A good point. Regulation is worth nothing if not enforced. There are new right to repair laws but nothing has been enforced.

Then they will say it's broken and demand digital ID to 'fix' it.

Children social media bans are just an excuse to deanonymize the internet so politicians can send the police after their critics.

Theoretically the fairing could be any size, but there is a limit to how much bigger than the rocket it can be.

Because the falcon boosters have to be road transportable.

12th gen and later intel iGPU can do sr-iov.

In this case, ICE officer's are being shot at.

I don't disagree. I'm merely pointing out that it's not just a matter of technical implementation.

Payment processors are courts in disguise.

More games should be open source like doom. It doesnt effect the art assets which are still copyrighted.

You can not want something to happen but still do so knowing the inevitable result.

It means the body stops producing it and won't ever again.

They will also last longer if the metal filament is thicker. Which is the way they artificially limited the lifespan.

Google is a malware services company. They profit when malware OBS is the first search result when you search for OBS.

Whether something is illegal is only loosely correlated with whether it is common. Eg the war on drugs.

The point of a bribe is to receive something in exchange for something else.
