Now NMAP has to be rewriten to detect this crazy honey-potting style, by utilising "spoilers.json" file :) I love Python, I just implemented this in my HoneyPot added some connections-counters, statistic and alterting... Anyone want to have as free open-source on github? Let me know.
I considered this as Sandbox/Brainstorm for anyone who had question in mind, bud never asked. Anyway thanks for comment, you right in some way, I understand.
Personally I write all my time to CalDav server for about 3 years now. Works great on all kinds of devices. Then I have a small python utility that can read the calendar file and parse time for selected words. For example I create event "DEVELOPMENT PROJECT_XY". Then python script calculates time for "PROJECT_XY"... Maybe I should publish that as open-source after some code review. Also I can review how much time I spend on personal stuff like house cleaning, cooking, shopping, or research and study...
I do. I thought about this for months. Always when I read tweets in the morning, seeing all the non-sense Ads non-relevant to my preferences in contrast of tweets and account I choses very precise. If this idea is nothing new, then pardon me. Anyway thanks.
Good question! but I don't know the answer. maybe its a paradox :) I know everything has to move forward and evolve! Anyway, I like the 140 Character limit on Twitter. My post is acctualy exactly 140 characers long :) as most of my tweets. Just wanted to point out, that the current popularity of Twitter is based on current state. And maybe some payment options would be fine for people who care andn consider Twitter as the source of news and knowledge.
There are situations when you need to play video on load. (for example, you want a nicely designed content or DIVs.) But Maybe a browser option to enable/disable video playback would solve this. Maybe disabling audio would be as an option, so as webdesigner you can show the relevant visual content but without sound.
Had the same idea couple of times, whet I needed to distribute tasks between couple of servers. Now I can imagine it, as some sort of TCP service (like EMAIL) powered by DNS records and TCP server/client. Maybe SMTP can be also used. This desires and requires more time and energy, maybe a team of people, maybe open standard and SW implementation of TCP services. This could be used, not only for humas, but also for automation.
Cool, love it. But It opens videos im fullscreen automaticaly, forcing me close each video on iPhone. Maybe this could be optional. But maybe it is the way it works. cool :)
Cool to see how HN user comunity always shows new ways to read your favorite News Source. I think, first I noticed was http://hack.ernews.info
It is time to make my own HN frontend! :) And this applies, for each of You!
Anyway my favorite frontend/design and UI is still https://news.ycombinator.com as it is fine to read and navigate 500 times per day and also offers the procrastination mode if I declare my self as addicted for compulsive HN site visiting. (Witch I should activate long ago :).
But with the right implemenation and audomation as we did in in my webhosting company, it is evem more convenient for user. (unless LetsEncrypt is working). Certificates are reneved automaticaly without any user action. So I think EV is the key point here for other CAs. Also I think that in the next 2 years, every webhosting account will be created with HTTPS:// as default, without even asking the client as HTTPS with LE becomes a standard service out-of-the-box.
This is something that deserves the name "Startup". Someting new, fresh and inovative that can server the common good. Where ideas and new views can be implemented and shared! Worth to look at and Worth the time you spend on the site and with the service! Something with potencial. Great! Thumb up and good luck!
I was used to check http://osnews.com/ daily for Years now. But for me, they update frequency is quite poor, so i stopped visiting the site at all. This looks promissing and nice.
My Feedback is that this post is a SPAM. Is there someting inovative or technologicaly interesting about the site? I think it just a "simple" website of an affiliate marketer.
