Unfortunately for me though, I both can't justify one and can't afford one anyway.

Unfortunately for me though, I both can't justify one and can't afford one anyway.
It's not about preferred configuration. It's about not producing tonnes of electronic waste by having to require an unreasonable magnitude of charger and device configurations.
Basically as usual, it's Apple and everyone else.
I'll stick with my USB charger thanks as it is 100% ubiquitous as I will my Internet Printing Protocol, DLNA (which doesn't even require an Apple box to talk to my TV!) and bluetooth that works properly across all devices I've encountered.
Edit to add: I have 3 Lightning iPads in my house (none are mine personally). The male connectors aren't durable - two dead ones so far. I'm not sure about the sockets either which are way more expensive to replace.

This is the correct solution to the problem.
1. Easynet - all work fine.
2. Andrews & Arnold - all work fine (this is expected)
3. O2/Sky - all work fine
4. BT - all work fine
All of these lines were provisioned before the porn filter was announced so...
Edit: tested Amnesty, OpenBSD (which these machines are all running and would be a PITA for me) and linux.com
And hell I don't even use a PC. Some of us still use workstations (Korg: you rock).
However you can't beat real instruments for latency.
Awk manpage: http://www.openbsd.org/cgi-bin/man.cgi?query=awk
Gawk info (in html): http://www.gnu.org/software/gawk/manual/gawk.html
Both fully describe the capabilities of the software without resorting to compressing it.
Elegance in simplicity.
Turned out to be a dodgy RAM stick in the end. ECC is a requirement for me now when the host machine supports it.
I had it building on FreeBSD back then!
They did the right thing for them but not the community. Isolation and ecosystem ate tightly controlled at Microsoft and always have been. It's how devdiv remain scarily profitable.
Oh no wait, for those of us who have actually used these specs (in my case MSRPC/DCE), it's a hopeless mess of blatantly incomplete documentation obviously written by the lowest bidder.
Microsoft haven't changed. They've succeeded in changing their perception only. The company is still predatory sales focused and always will be.
WiFi configuration is a particular problem where everything has awful documentation so when you need to set up your WiFi without NetworkManager or some other behemoth, much eye poking and googling on other devices is required.
FreeBSD/OpenBSD/NetBSD: man ifconfig (and dmesg)
As a rule, and this happened to me more than once, you might need to configure your network connection without the aid of Google and online documentation. Either that or you're stuck on a train in the middle of nowhere with no WiFi and no 3G and you want to read the docs.
