What I gathered from the video is that he taped the entrances shut at night when most of the bees were inside the hive. Any bees that happened to be outside of the hive when he euthanized it would die eventually from hunger since they didn't have access to a hive anymore.
Does anyone know if iOS devices support multiple users/bio metrics per device and could log a specific user in when they are using a shared device? I'm wondering if this could be used for a shared iPad on a factory floor to log users into their own account on our web app.
I can think of several different ways our product in the agriculture sector could use these. We would also need an API for it to be useful. Do you have plans for an Android app as well or is it going to be iOS only?
That's simplifying it a bit, because there is both 'Up East' and 'Down East', but I've never heard 'Down West'. There is also 'Out West' which refers to Alberta.
My theory is that the next version of Windows is going to use the Linux kernel. They can keep Windows 10 going for a few years yet (maybe up to 5?). That will give them time to work on cross-platform .NET, so new development will be an easy switch, and good quality Win32 emulation, which will be built someway on the work done on Wine.
Palm prints were used at a nuclear facility I visited as an alternative to fingerprints in step 2. After you scan your id card you scan your palm print and the system verifies the palm matches the one that is registered with the card. They are not as unique as finger prints but it makes it much more difficult to use someone else's card (or username).
