As someone who has routinely used MapBox for various projects. I completely agree, it's one of those amazing gems no one really acknowledges.

In the mean time, I'm excited to see how this plays out. Seeing as how Human is an "activity monitor", I'm wondering if this will develop into something bigger.

I tried DarkBasic years ago as well, I was into Bryce, C4D, taking a bunch of A/V classes, and learning to program at the time. I was in major overload. I ended up buying a few a of their tools, the pro version, etc (which were mostly made in DarkBasic as well, aka eat you own dog food). But I haven't touched it in years...

But since seeing this post I looked at the DarkBasic website and it appears they are also OpenSourcing their Pro version as well.

I hate to ask, but is BlitzMax similar to DarkBasic? Which it seems is in the processing of OpenSourcing their programming engine at the moment as well.

I prefer to find a nice quite place at the local college (which I graduated from years ago). Its got highspeed and unrestricted internet, since its a learning environment its generally distraction free and usually somewhat quite. And no one frowns at you if you've spread paperwork, plans, books, a laptop, etc. all over a desk or table. And I for one seem to be highly productive doing work in a learning environment.

I think it's been like that for quite a while now. This should be another reason to follow feeds, they generally tend to use less ads.

I agree definitly alot faster, but it's a shame almost no plugins work except for extensions/addons/plugins found at http://mozillalabs.com/

But just give it a little time, firefox 4 is definitly worth the wait.
