So there is still no "interface" to connect to an optical nerve directly for people who do not have functional retina...
Could that be addressed by old software trick of modularising components - software and hardware-alike - and rely on some extensive semi-open protocols to connect these? I think car manufacturers have faced that at some time in the past, even inside single manufacturer (not sure if they have solved it completely). Sounds like they need Ada-like project, but for hardware side.
Please, lets not make this board a trading chat, or a mirror of reddit's boards?
wait, what?
(happy user for like 12 years?)
...and it probably means I would fail the test...
So far, good hardware, close-to-*ix-OS software, and penetration are kind of make them a hard competitor to beat.
What other "better" platforms are you thinking about?
1. The person specified he has a wife that chats with members of Congress out of usual channels of communications.
2. The person specified place where it happens in the open.
How hard for some non-friendly party to get there directly given the instructions above, or start tracking his wife through other means and get there through her?Question is... what are current goals of Boston Dynamics? Do they even see these robots used for non-military widely used scenarios - construction, medical care, first-responders etc? Are these things even possible for the things where cost is an important factor (unlike military, where cost is not that important)?
Mark Z participating in these riots would be HN-worthy.
