Author of TREZOR here. Responses inline:

> have a "stuck" RNG

TREZOR asks for external entropy during the initialization and this one is mixed with an internal one. Even in the unlikely change that internal RNG generator fails, you should be on the safe side.

> The author is trusting people he doesn't know

The whole design is (hardware and software) is open-source. You don't need to trust, you can verify yourself (or ask a friend who can if you are not able to).

> inheritance

When you initialize device it will give you a list of 24 words, which are a way how to recover funds. You can split these words across your family members (using e.g. a Shamir's Secret Sharing Scheme) and once you are dead your family can recover your coins.

I recommend watching my talk at CCC where I explain in detail the basis concepts of TREZOR: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CgaBKNus1n0

stickac··on The secret message hidden in every HTTP/2 connection
When you have an encrypted file (or a stream for that matter) and you know the first N bytes of the decrypted data, it might be easier to compute the encryption key if algorithm uses blocks smaller than N.

I hope this will enable all of you to create your own tipping platforms, eshops and crowdfunding pages. (Most of the software dealing with deterministic wallets was written in Python up to now).

stickac··on Listen to Bitcoin
It's a pity that bubble size is unrelated to the amount of Bitcoins in transaction. Or is it related to the transaction size?

Fold 180 degrees. Not 90.
stickac··on PaperCoin - paper offline Bitcoin wallets
For example Electrum client (electrum.org) allows you to import these keys. Or you can use MtGox Redeem code feature. I'm pretty sure other clients and web wallets have also this functionality.

Yep, same kind of error ... :(

Sequence starting with "1" together with the QR code are the Bitcoin address where you can send Bitcoins to. Sequence starting with "5" inside of the wallet is the private key, which you use to redeem the funds sent to the address in the first step.
stickac··on PaperCoin - paper offline Bitcoin wallets
Where the instructions say fold - you fold 180 degrees, not 90. So the wallet stays always flat. I added the 180 degrees note to the instructions.

It seems this is a bug in jsPDF - the same happens with their basic example. I might look into that, but for now please use Chrome/Firefox.

This of course is JavaScript application. And it is downloadable and locally runnable (read footer on the website).

You can still download the code (as ZIP archive from github) and run it locally.
