ssing··on How to build discipline and brainwash yourself
These are some of my positive mantras I got from a book that had been very helpful.

Replace

"I have to" with "I choose to"

"I must finish" with "When can I start"

"This is so big" with "I can take a small step"

"I must be perfect" with "I can be human"

"I don't have time to play" with "I must take time to play"

ssing··on Show HN: My side project - SnapRobot
Pretty neat and useful. May be you have already thought about it but I felt the need to forward/share that screen shot with my friends.
ssing··on My HN November app: Quick Brown Frog
I was not able to complete the typing test. Something went wrong when I tried to move from 2 to the 3 line and after that it was unusable.

ssing··on Faking it.
I would say using faking is little harsh. All you are doing is providing seed data.
ssing··on Ask HN: Should you strive for perfection when you are experimenting with an idea
Thanks for looking into the site and giving early feedback. The reason I asked this question was I found myself spending too much time trying to get things like login, fb like on the front page and organizing the layout. It is good for learning but it is preventing me from addressing other key issues.
ssing··on Ask HN: Should you strive for perfection when you are experimenting with an idea
It is on Ruby On Rails. The idea is simple and niche. If it has user acceptance I would be interested in continuing with it. I am getting sucked in just trying to make the UI better. Just in case if you are interested but it is work in progress http://doosracricket.com/
ssing··on Ask HN: Please rate our startup Neetly
I tried again and it is still down for me.
ssing··on Ask HN: Please rate our startup Neetly
I am not able to access the URL. Seems to be broken.
ssing··on An Open Letter To Business People
In spite of this being repeated so many times still it is so easy to fall into the trap. At-least it was for me. Working on my latest project we discussed so much on the feature, design and others but never on how to get users. We kinda assumed that once the project is done users will be waiting for us.
ssing··on Ask HN: What percentage of Y Combinator apps are successful/profitable?
You are right but I thought of checking if this information is already available.
