You don't have to use hotmail for MSN messenger, xbox live, or other services. I signed up for a windows live ID using my gmail email address. You can use yahoo too if thats what you use.

We want to warn people. It's like this: Imagine that Apple sold cars, and wanted to sell you a car for $20,000 that you couldn't fix, had no radio or any luxury packages whatsoever.

Then some mechanic told you that you can get a nice customizable, fixable VW for the same price with the best luxury package.

Would you buy the Apple cause it was automatic and you didn't want to learn how to drive a manual?

If I'm looking to buy something and don't know where to get it, I go to Google. So the ads are actually useful to me. I never go to Facebook to search for something I want to buy.

I'm sure many people follow Facebook ads, but I'm not one of them. Especially since they are mostly trying to trick people. Like showing random pictures in the ads that have no meaning to the actual product.

I'm guessing that you are doing something right now since I just get a "500 Internal Server Error" every time I try to go to the flow.

I could be wrong but I don't think this situation is the same as Microsoft's.

Apple has full control over whats installed on an iPhone. They openly admit that they block any applications that compete with theirs. Couldn't Google do the same?
