I click on this because of Gabriel Knight 3, and sure enough, there is in the first paragraph.
snthpy··on Show HN: A plain-text cognitive architecture for Claude Code
> contradictions log

When you hit one of those you need to introduce laughter:

- interrupt the main loop

- spend some inference on exploring the contradiction

- resolve it, and then

- store a memory about the resolution

Half way there

The point about all the extra efficiency just making us more stressed and busy resonates deeply with me. It also stood out to me in the recent episode of the No Priors podcast with Andrej Karpathy. It's that feeling of falling behind is you're not using all available compute.

Btw the earendil.com website is gorgeous.

Lol
snthpy··on Scaling Karpathy's Autoresearch: What Happens When the Agent Gets a GPU Cluster
> Scale Autoresearch on your own GPU cluster

Who's got a cluster of H100s and H200s just lying around?

I feel the opposite. I'm on Teams all day at work and have reluctantly opened Telegram recently to try a Claw despite having an account for years.

I've been surprised how little support there has been for Teams in the whole AI ecosystem. It seems all developers assume that the whole world is at startups working on Slack when most businesses are on Microsoft 365.

snthpy··on RX – a new random-access JSON alternative
TIL.

EXI looks useful. Now I just wish there was a renderer in the pugjs format as I find that terse format much pure readable than verbose XML. I also find indentation based syntax easier to visually parse hierarchical structure.

I'd love to hear more about your TUI testing with tmux approach.
snthpy··on Make your coding models create ADRs before implementation
I guess we're not talking about American Depository Receipts
snthpy··on Arno's Engram Keyboard Layouts
I looked at the repo but I didn't see anything about the design principles. How does this compare to Colemak-dh on things like inward rolls and SBFs etc ...?
snthpy··on Arno's Engram Keyboard Layouts
I dislike the middle columns so I think this is quite a cool idea.
snthpy··on The Biggest Identity Sandpiles and How to Compute Them
Cool stuff, thanks

Yeah, but I'm wondering when they'll officially change the name. lol
snthpy··on SpiceCrypt: A Python library for decrypting LTspice encrypted model files
Cool, thanks.

Ofc Freud came to watch lol
snthpy··on Hollywood Enters Oscars Weekend in Existential Crisis
Different currency, same conclusion. Plus add on the cost of the baby sitter and the fact that TVs now provide a home Cinema experience.
snthpy··on Bus travel from Lima to Rio de Janeiro
Funny, I was in the same area a few months earlier. Had to have a wisdom tooth pulled in Cusco and then had a dry socket in Uyuni which was agony.
snthpy··on SpiceCrypt: A Python library for decrypting LTspice encrypted model files
What is LTspice?
snthpy··on Postgres with Builtin File Systems
This is really interesting! Thanks
snthpy··on U.S. Built a Blueprint to Avoid Civilian War Casualties. DOJ Scrapped It
Indeed. I'm curious how long before DHS becomes the Department of Surveillance?
snthpy··on The Biggest Identity Sandpiles and How to Compute Them
Cool. I didn't know the term before. It's basically like Conway's game of life with a different update rule.

Another thing you are apparently missing is deterministic ordering for tied elements:

My bad, looks like I misunderstood how bash-tool works.

Then how about running Claude Code or your harness of choice inside bubblewrap with a shim/stub for the base binary?

snthpy··on Agent Safehouse – macOS-native sandboxing for local agents
I like the idea but not the MCP part.

How about using bash-tool to intercept the commands and then passing them onto the containers?

snthpy··on DuckDB 1.5.0
I forgot no say that I really hope they make it into the 2.0 release later in the year.
snthpy··on DuckDB 1.5.0
Still no support for range types though, which is a pity as that continues to block me from porting most of my Postgres workloads.

date_ranges are so great, you'll wonder how you ever did without them.
