Ha, I remember my days trying to get friends and family to use Google services only to have them shutdown. No more. I tell them to stay far, far away from anything Google.

Can confirm. Cut out almost all sugar from my diet. I've seen dramatic improvements in my health with the most significant being the elimination of brain fog.

I use these all the time with my outlook.com account (and Gmail before that). You are right that they don't help with spam. However, they add an extra layer of security because now my logins have both a unique email address and password. Of course, a password manager is mandatory.
