sirtoffski··on Show HN: WireGuard Ligase – Easy WireGuard Deployment in Bash
Just a couple of Bash scripts to make WireGuard server config and place it in /etc/wireguard/ The scripts will automatically make private/public keys for the server and clients and add those to the config. There’s a option to configure iptables as well.

Tested on AWS Lightsail and DigitalOcean. If a quick config option is chosen, you’d only need to install iptables persistent to finish the deployment. On LightSail server port needs to be allowed in the GUI; on DigitalOcean iptables take care of everything.

I usually use ctrl+c/ctrl+v for single line copy paste.

For multi-line the only thing I found to work was right click :) it then properly formats multi-line paste.

My choices are as follows.

* Linux:

# Tilix - probably the best option in terms of performance, customization, looks and features.

# Extraterm - in my experience the best electron-based terminal emulator in terms of performance. It has some neat features too. I catch myself using it more often than Tilix.

* Windows:

# CMDer - pretty much the only option. Has everything one needs, even built in bash on Windows. Useful on Windows 7 PCs at work that don't have WSL or admin rights to install more stuff.

* MacOS

# Plain old built in terminal is actually nice ;)

# Extraterm is alright too, but it's electron based and the old mac-mini does not really like it.

# iTerm 2 - never got around to fully configuring it, but everyone swears by it.

sirtoffski··on Setting Up an Ad-Blocking VPN with WireGuard and Pihole
I wrote a couple of bash scripts to easily configure WireGuard server and hosts. Automatically generates keys and puts them in correct configs. Adds client info to the server config as an option. As a bonus it can configure some iptables to enable NAT, vpn tracking, etc.
