I'm currently learning Python from a PHP standpoint which is kinda exciting because Python is beautiful language and joy to work it. Do you know of any good Python books that cover 2.7? I know you mentioned Python Essential Reference I'll check that out as well most Python tutorials are outdated it seems.

If it was up to me I would tell you to learn Python+Django but since you're familiar with Drupal and Joomla I would recommend you learn PHP, Wordpress and Laravel.

PHP is very high in demand no matter what anyone tells you. You will forever be fixing legacy code or even building your own from scratch PHP is everywhere.

You're not even curious to click it?

I love Feynman this is much appreciated. I wish there were HD videos of him lecturing.

That's a lot more than I thought. Proud of my city!

Now this is something I've been waiting for a long time. CodeSchool is a fun environment to learn Code, The design of the site makes it interactive and cool. Thanks for this! Can't wait to learn Javascript.

Cool thanks for this. Is there something similar to this for python 2.7?

Well I'm not doing construction or blue collar work I never thought people could get burned out from freelancing in that sense, most if it involves siting.

I lived there for several years so I must say this is exciting I can only imagine how they feel, There are so many undiscovered territories on mother earth I'm just glad there is people out there not giving up on humanity and do what it takes to solve the big problems.

Saw something similar to this on BattleStar Galactica. It's amazing how every Sci-Fi I've watched is becoming more and more practical.

This is fantastic, breakthrough, I've long waited fingerprint scanning technology. This could definitely decrease cybercriminals.

I agree trust and honesty is part of a healthy relationship.

Anyone? How come?

This is a great idea!, I live in Seattle with my Seattle and I want to get her into programming hopefully she can be part of this. I really like this program and I will support this.

Or perhaps shot at, cops are very very strict and power hungry nowadays is best to just follow the law to avoid confrontation.

Well I could see this escalating into something more serious than it ought to be. This could how ever be useful for a criminal with nothing to lose which in that case this product could be helping criminals escape.

Everything is in Mandarin besides "Writing Matters".

It's part of life, you can't expect everyone to like you. It also depends on what kind of people you work with. You will have your ups and downs in life this is true for any field of work not just software development.

I think the main reason this happens in Software development is that people have big egos and consider themselves more intelligent than others.

Friday the 13th is your birthday? O.O

Back End is more fun. I'm not very good with UI design, graphics or artsy Front End stuff I'm not very creative in that department I do enjoy Logic and Database more. I prefer Django and Python rather than Javascript and JQuery, bad analogy perhaps but hope you get the idea.

On the contrary I prefer his method of teaching more than anything else, it can be quite distracting when there is a face or hand movements on the screen.

Great read, Khan academy does solve a lot of the headaches that come with Math, thank you Salman Khan! if it wasn't for him I wouldn't have gotten a 3.8 in Calculus.

for those who don't know math or want to learn this will make your life easier, https://www.khanacademy.org/

I was excited until I noticed it hasn't launched yet. Looks fun though since Python is one of the choice.

Nevertheless, it's 2013 people are to concerned with security and threat, I would be nervous to bring a stranger into my home I'm not familiar with let alone a family allowing this kind of hospitality would be strange but that's just my opinion.

Either this guy is very lucky or something seems fishy here, how does he manage to get free hospitality by so many people to just invite a stranger to stay with them, I can't help but wonder if google is behind this somehow.

2/ Only surround yourself with brilliant and positive people.

this really touched me, most of my friends are always negative and angry and sad to say but my family is also dysfunctional which at times leads me to being stressed and upset as well. It's hard to cut people off who are your family and friends though.

Was it a Mac? I'm sure MacBooks have the ability to be tracked if the owner allowed it. I have a MacBook pro and the guest account allows a thief to login and I can track them through the guest account.

Cool beans! I'll check this out as well.

So when 0 A.D will be released is unpredictable? I was looking forward to the campaign.

Really? where can I read about it. AOE has the in game advance empire thing going where you can upgrade your entire empire to the next level I thought it was pretty cool.
