there's a London-based startup community, there's a massive warehouse near Caledonian Road with cheap rents & a good vibe. I don't know what the other London sites are like, nor how extensive or useful the 'international' element of the organisation is.
Good essay - and I also liked the video (posted earlier) that it was based on. Tiny pedantic point; there's one too many 'should's here:

Either 'Similarly, founders should also not...' or 'Similarly, founders also should not...'

If you have no presence in the US, you'll need to fill in W8BEN forms (available online) to avoid being taxed by both UK & US. There are other considerations too, as you mention, but I'm not familiar enough with them to advise. Hope that helps.
