Well, because there's a chatbot powering america.gov, and there's only a few choices for models/companies--of which grok is one. And here Musk is claiming grok was chosen, while nobody else seems to be making an opposing claim.

Hundreds of illegal voters that were already caught, exactly.

While everyone says that's not happening.

Over 6,000 illegals registered to vote in a couple of years, and 400 of them actually voted. So not a handful, try reading comprehension.

Yes, people are saying "Trump is trying to stay in power"

That's my best guess at what you're refuting, since I had it in quotes. Otherwise you're just vagueposting on a 4-day old thread. Try being more specific, make a point.

Come and take it.
sejje··on Livenerf: Has Opus 5.5 been nerfed yet?
> Humans should be handling design and implementation entirely, making things for other humans. An LLM running in a loop can't build humane systems.

I tell the LLM what to do in its loop. It builds it. I tweak it until it is perfect. I care a lot about UI.

I'm mostly building my own UIs lately, but I find no problem with the development loop. I'm building much better UIs, because it's way easier to test things, and scrap things that I thought would work, but don't. It all happens in a matter of minutes.

Humans should use more llms.

So vibecoded, but with last year's models.

That figures, government moves slow.

sejje··on America.gov
How about semantic embeddings for everything to facilitate search, and then don't let a bot spam sycophantic shit at me?

I'm very pro-ai, but we can improve the UI a lot sometimes, from the chat bot paradigm.

sejje··on America.gov
Do you not think we can take that at face value?

Why not?

I just didn't believe him, actually.
sejje··on Ask HN: Who's still keeping a DOS machine up because the business depends on it?
A neighboring warehouse/supply place has an old system of some kind, I think DOS.

Old monochrome screens, and one of those printers you can hear ripping off every line, and it has the perforated sides for feeding that you rip off.

I haven't been over there in a while, but someone brought me back a receipt yesterday and it was printed like a modern invoice. I guess they updated.

Did you type the translation? It has a typo.

Can I introduce you to copy and paste?

Again, there's a judge at the time of sentencing, not a congressperson.

It's funny that you went across all my comment history to post replies to me specifically. What's your name? Wanna get coffee?

The only monopoly any of them has is on their own models, what are you even talking about?

I guess you're mad about the quasi-monopoly of Tesla, too, since they're the only electric car selling worth a hoot.

The country they were born in / have citizenship in.

I haven't been called racist, actually, but people get called racist just for looking like me.

Why would they get mad about paying for software they were using? What asshats.

No idea about a stolen election, that's not what I said. I said hundreds of illegal voters, and you said "show it to us bud" and I showed it to you
sejje··on Supreme Court permits states to use SAVE database for citizenship checks
To say the feds don't have any say in federal elections just is not really true.

Every political party and their allies say their opponents can't be allowed to win, at least the last few election cycles. It's a tired trope that "Trump is going to do xyz thing to stay in power." It's a hysteria cycle, and none of it ever comes true.

Florida elected George W by 437 votes in 2000.

Al Franken won a senate seat by 312 votes in 2008

A Maine House seat was won by 1 vote in 2024

1 illegal vote is too many.

> You may think that war crimes are cool

It's really rich to say this after calling me disingenuous.

I don't think it's cool that Anthropic gets to set military policy. I don't care how much I agree or disagree with the policy. Wario is not the president. And Anthropic does not strike me as "obviously patriotic," not that I think it's better if the private company bossing the military around is patriotic. It has no relevance.

"Warcrimes" is the new "racist," too. It gets thrown around willy nilly about every military action.

> If you think prisons should have profit motives where growth only comes from continually seeking punitive policies to imprison people

Prisons don't get to sentence people, courts do.

I was one of those hackers, you're misrepresenting it.

I was mad that I had to pay for windows just to wipe that shit and put linux on. If I used it, I wouldn't have been mad about it at all.

I've never been mad about paying for my software.

What did he mean, then? How will this action to prevent foreign nationals from voting in American elections secure the win for Republicans?
