As a result of the complexity and requirements, we realized we would like to have a solution for CDN, WAF, and DDOS protection with one vendor.

Depending on your definition of ddos protection Fastly has those things along with granular and semi scriptable configurability via vcl. Granted it’s been 2-3 years since I last did a comparison between Fastly and Cloudflare but I can’t understand why a company with presumably a need for configurability at the edge would make this choice. Cloudflare’s entry tiers are unbeatable in price but beyond that it’s extremely bulky.

Exactly this, and what a lot of less senior developers don’t understand is that the fixed timeline is actually a defensive mechanism for the development team. If the date is fixed the functionality has to be variable and the best people to assess what fits or not is the development team who thus can be in control of their own planning.

Whereas we can’t send specific information between two entangled qubits would we not be able to use it synchronize state (read seed) FTL? That state would for instance allow the two systems to instantly be in sync with a newly generated random seed?

I don’t fully agree with parent about all drawbacks for wireless headphones but I do agree with Bluetooth having issues. In particular in Apple hardware. My AirPods will drop out if I cover my iPhone 11 Pro with my hand in my pocket. My Bose NC 700 will either drop out or cause my magic keyboard to lose connection if they are too close to my MacBook Pro. I’ve learned to live with these things as I understand they are minuscule problems to have, but the point still stands. Bluetooth has issues.
