I'll spare the HN audience the rage-bait of the description of his interview with Altman. The rest of the article is somewhat heavy on lit-crit language and cliches, but it ain't untrue.
At issue: "an extreme type of dissociation known as dissociative identity disorder or D.I.D., a psychological defense mechanism that many experts believe develops in the wake of repeated childhood abuse or serious, ongoing neglect."
The key quote, which is really all that needed to be reported is: "The offering is underpinned by an earlier decision by the market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India that notified weather as a tradeable good, ending years of regulatory stasis."
