Caps lock can be control if held down and used as a modifier with another key, but if pressed and released sends Esc instead.
I'm now thinking about it too much to be able to type naturally, but I seem to use middle and index interchangeably for some keys depending on which key was just pressed / is next to be pressed.
... and I just noticed if I sometimes use different fingers from the "wrong" hand to type depending on context too! I've typed the letter Y using right-index, left-index and left-middle and left-index during the course of writing this post. I guess this is what learning to touch type without being actually taught buys you :)

If the return value is one line, it prints neatly after the executed block. If it's more than one it inserts a little pane with the results, with options to copy the data or open it in a new buffer.
... Especially when your RAID is busy rebuilding for N hours every other week.
Surely running youtube-dl inside a docker container inside a virtualbox VM created by boot2docker isn't easier?
While you can build a package of something simple like this example (static html), as soon as you want to compile a binary you're going to need to be building on the same environment as you're targeting.
I'd suggest removing any mention of OSX from the guide, or making it clear of the limitations of trying to build debs on it.
This will remove the .debs apt just downloaded and installed that are being cached in /var/cache/apt/archives, saving you a little disk space.
I'm not going to be building .debs for installation inside Docker containers (turtles all the way down) but I would still consider something like aptly for storing and managing any obscure dependencies that my applications might require, and for maintaining a mirror on the local network to speed up image builds.

The option is there, just different: -E (the same as grep)
