I think skydrive support would be great :)!
Btw, really really well done from what I tried!
Most Facebook account's get compromised through social engineering / keyloggers. And that risk is not increased by facebooks login implementation.
I'd recommend anyone to go, if possible. Knowing from the Tokyo Events, it's a great gathering :)!
It does not make any sense at all for them to add the numbers up, aside from being able to present a huge single number for marketing purposes. Even non tech people understand that a 4 x 2ghz processor is not a 8ghz processor....
However, as you will most certainly be able to disable that feature, I think it is a great addition, since there seems to be no downside. If you do not like it, do not install it :)
This is just Adobe trying to rake more cash in. They are betting that companies are not going to switch from Adobe products to something else because a licence is twice as expensive. So far, it seems to have worked.
The point was, that exclusively relying on it is not smart, if email is important to you. You can easily use the full benefits of your gmail convenience while still having a fully working fallback. There are even two ways of doing it, one would be to simply forward your email, or using your own domain on google apps.
The atmosphere was very relaxed and "open", so you got to talk to everybody who you wanted to, which made for some really interesting discussions.
Afterwards, I'd say about half the people or more headed out to the "Tap room", a nice bar with all sorts of beer. If you're in Tokyo and have never attended before, I'd give it a go.
However, they have something to gain if the mail app is not good enough for powerusers and all of them buy Sparrow instead. That saves them a whole lot of developer/maintenance time and gets them 30% of every e.g. Sparrow sold. While that may not be Apples main incentive, it is definitely something I think.
I have an example of OSS software with yet no cheater. Check out xonotic (www.xonotic.org), a heavily modified quake based shooter. They partly implement anti-cheat functionality by more or less shifting tasks from the client side to the server side, making e.g. wallhacks impossible. Also they use encryption for certain packages to prevent them from being tapered with. Aimbots are another thing, but I have yet to see one. I didn't really dig into the security features though, that is just what I picked up by casually browsing the forums...
Also, I heared Apple is leveraging Safari on iOS, where is the law?
