It’s an awesome start to a stack, you’re right though a typical seat based install runs average enterprises 25+k usd per year. I wish that someone would just make open oodo compatible plugins, because the big fundamental win is a unified data model built on open technologies.

Let’s hope that the new mayor will make this type of scanning illegal. Cities need to start creating and enforcing laws concerning overreaching ai.

It’s for running MacOS on Apple hardware. Apple has their own container tech now, Qemu just makes it easy to run everything else including MacOS

Wow, this reads like dystopian science fiction. As I celebrate the holidays with my newly born human, I sure hope that more people start wanting to bet on brighter tomorrows and actually put some skin in the game.

Please share, new rabbit holes are the best rabbit holes.

It is a fair assumption that they do this regularly, politics aside one should ask why were there so many FBI agents at the Jan 6 debacle and why didn’t they do more to quell the violence. The origins of Ruby Ridge and Waco are fine examples of insanity. Nevertheless inciting crime and capturing bad guys seems like a game they like playing.

Golf clap good human.

It’s a lot lighter than Postgres/supabase. I run it on a pi-5 and it works perfectly well.

I can teach you, but I’ll have to charge

I built a little hosting company atop these boxes, my neighborhood was one of the first to get symmetric DSL and I could get 10 static IPs. Http 1.1 came out the year before and was upgraded to allow name based virtual hosting… I had over 40 websites running from my childhood bedroom. I bought my first qube in late 98 from an PC mall catalog and kept buying them after they moved to the raq box before they eventually sold to Sun. Good times.

Apple SRD devices.

His former employer sandbox over wifi or use stingray like devices. Apple can see that this went over the public iMessage/PushNotification channels.

As a former researcher in this space, anyone who develops commercial exploits knows what they are doing and that their work if they happen to be in the US is subject to ITAR level restrictions.

I stopped when it became a game at that level. I refuse to be a government contractor…. It’s about not using software like this to kill people like Jamal Khashoggi.

F the dipshits at NSO and the turds at Corellium.

Why can’t MSFT in their infinite wisdom get someone from the WSL team to build a native driver. It would add so much good will.

Have you tried doing an ACH to a friend or paid rent that way recently? Banks force you to Zelle (there are daily/weekly limits) they’re not enough to cover modern rents so you breakup payments. Meanwhile any stable coin transfer can be done in minutes and works better than any payment rail ever.

Edit: I got my landlord to open a Coinbase account because stablecoin payments are way easier (also got a signup bonus for referring a new account)

Crypto is the first viable non-nation state currency. It’s NeoCurrency and frankly it’s high time something like it should exist.

When’s your next court date against Apple? Let’s hope the California government can stand against this type of federal overreach.

So let’s level set… ICE can buy data from data brokers, and has active contracts with Cellubrite and Pegasus… but an organized opposition can only use rocks and spears. This isn’t a fascist regime at all.

Nice to see Stadia had some long term benefit. It’s a shame they don’t make a self hosted version but if you did that it’s just piracy in today’s drm world.

When I did it back in the day for a poker site we also had the constraint of never storing the positions of shuffled cards for security reasons. We always sorted the deck and when it came to dealing I developed a shuffle server that got noise from a taped up webcams cmos sensor, when a player needed a card it polled the server which was just outputting random positions from 0 to 51 continuously, if the card position was already dealt, it re requested a new one, entropy was gotten from player decision time and network speed. It was a fun thing to build.

Using a vector db that’s created as a post commithook is probably a reasonable improvement. With context lengths getting bigger natural language is getting easier to work with but your leaving a bunch of gains on the floor without them.

No shade on your project, this is an emerging space and we can all use novel approaches.

Keep it up!

Let’s remember these moments as the darkest time in American history. Washington would hang these people.

Dude survived two drone failed deliveries and a mine ... 4 bikes to get home. Slava Ukraini!

That’s an amazing sentence…

I bet you’re real fun at parties.

This is killer art

You’re making the innocent till proven guilty argument, detainment somehow stands in the way of that.

Now every computer is a web server, and as a bonus you run IIS.

You mean to tell me hackers are willing to astroturf? I am pretty sure SV angels sent emails to Portco’s telling them how to vote... not about content but in statewide elections. Some times the hive mind needs to think differently.

As a proud son of a garment maker and sewing machine mechanic of a dad, I personally spread more yardage than anyone can remotely comprehend... this was a fantastic read.
